BACP Award 2008
On October 17th Mothertongue was presented with an award from the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. The award was for the category of Excellence in the Practice of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Meera Kapadia, a counsellor and colleague of Beverley, nominated Mothertongue for the award. The judging panel were unanimous in their decision to grant Mothertongue the award saying that the service demonstrated " a fully integrated service dealing well with culturally sensitive issues."
Receiving an award from the BACP, the national body which Mothertongue is accredited to, is a huge honour. Beverley said, "This award recognises the professionalism, care and integrity of the organisation."
