NHS Health and Social Care Awards 2008
Mothertongue won the Improving Health & Reducing Inequalities Award from the NHS Health and Social Care Awards 2008. Beverley, Jean and Kim attended the South Central ceremony on April 23rd in Oxford.
The Health and Social Care Awards exist to highlight and celebrate innovation and excellence in the provision of frontline health and social care. These awards recognise and encourage working together across organisations and professions, with service users and local populations.
Mothertongue are regional winners and we are now eligible to be considered for the national level. The national finalists will be announced at a ceremony, which will be held at Wembley Stadium on 1st July 2008, and will also incorporate celebrations for the 60th anniversary of the NHS.
