Her Royal Majesty's Representative for Berkshire, the Honourable Mrs Mary Bayliss was present in her role as Lord Lieutenant. Her cadet read out the certificate from Queen Elizabeth II and then a presentation was made of a commemorative crystal to Beverley by the Lord Lieutenant.
The Mayor of Reading, Councillor Fred Pugh and the Mayoress Mrs Jean Pugh, were also in attendance. The Mayor added his congratulations to Mothertongue for receiving the award.
After the formal business the guests could enjoy the delicious buffet and talk and network with each other.
